KRISTINA HABEREK

Kristina Haberek is a self-taught henna artist in the Cleveland, OH area. She has been practicing the art of henna and studying the surrounding culture since 1998. Kristina has practiced various art forms over the years and holds a BA in Art from Cleveland State University.

Henna body art is the application of paste made from the leaves of the henna plant resulting in a brown stain on the skin lasting 1-3 weeks. Kristina's homemade paste contains all natural ingredients like pure ground henna leaves, lemon juice, essential oil and sugar. Kristina is licensed and insured and does not use "black henna" or any substance containing para-phenylenediamine or PPD. Kristina uses only pure natural henna directly imported from Middle Eastern manufacturers.

Kristina does not use stencils for henna. All art is done freehand and can be customized at the client's request. Kristina's natural style is a fusion of traditional Indian and Arabic elements with a modern flair. She can easily execute whatever style the client desires.
